Our mission at Tennis Watch Dog is to help tennis enthusiasts, tennis parents, juniors and teachers/coaches wade through the information and misinformation that surrounds our great sport.  We will take a unique approach by using science, logic and video.  There are far too many tennis teaching pros that teach through opinion, rather than sound principles of science.  Webster's definition of "opinion":  A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof.  

We will also challenge the various tennis magazines, tennis books, instructional videos and instructional web sites that offer advice from the "who's who" of tennis teaching professionals.  It is far too often accepted that if you played professionsal tennis or coached a professional player, that the information you share is the truth.  Rarely are the "who's who" of tennis challenged.  That is what we plan to do.  Success as a player or coach does not necessarily mean truth in the information you give.  In many instances it can simply mean you are an exceptional athlete or you coached an  exceptional athlete and nothing more.  I encourage you to click on the button to your left "Myth Busters/Your Tennis IQ" and find out how much misinformation you are a victim of.

Here at Tennis Watch Dog, we have only one agenda and that is the education of tennis players.  Everything on "Tennis Watch Dog" is free of charge...no strings attached.
